WIP Back of Manchester Town Hall

Work in Progress, this is the back of Manchester Town Hall, Manchester, UK. I wont be working on this for awhile as all the paints and canvases are packed. I'm moving house in the next couple of weeks so I have loads to do. I've no idea when I will be back online but hopefully it wont be too long, a month or so.

Finished, varnished and scanned: "Ashton Market 2"

Another one that's now been varnished and scanned, this one is Ashton Market, Ashton-Under-Lynne in Tameside. I took this image a few years ago whilst getting photographs of Ashton and Stockport for a painting project for college. Anyway the market has changed since then the council have knocked the market down and changed it so I have decided to paint a couple of Ashton Market the way it use to be. The painting shows the clock tower at Market Hall, the whole building caught fire a few years ago and it really went up it flames. This one is a small oil painting on canvas board its only 30x20cm so there isn't any fine detail.

Finished, varnished and scanned: "Only at Blackpool"

Finally the oil paint has dried on the last three paintings, this one is called "Only at Blackpool". I spent at lot of time at Blackpool on days out in my youth and more recently with my own kids and family. However haven't been for a couple of years but hopefully will go again soon. This on is an oil painting on canvas at 40x30 cm.
